Stuart Mott, who recently completed his run as Demetrius in Shakespeare Rep’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, spends most of his time acting in the Chicago area. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has worked professionally across the Midwest and is thrilled to be returning to Lowcountry. He began studying improv in high school at ComedySportz Milwaukee from the originators of the “theater sports” system. He is now a company member of T.I.M. (The Improvised Musical) which recently made waves at the New York Music Improv Festival. Stuart recently has taught classes in Shakespeare, Playwriting, Voice and Speech, and Musical Theater for both the Skylight Music Theater and First Stage Children’s Theater; one of the country’s largest children’s theaters. Recent credits include SPRING AWAKENING (GCT), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre), and TWELFTH NIGHT (Milwaukee Storyteller Theater). Stuart’s motion capture work appears in the CALL OF DUTY video game series. Aside from acting, he is also an avid composer and has a new work premiering this spring in Milwaukee.
