Musical Director Josh Wall is thrilled to once again be working with the Main Street Youth Theatre on their production on “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Josh had the great pleasure of acting as Musical Director with MSYT in December of 2017 on MSYT’s 20th Anniversary show, “This Is Our Story.”

Currently, Josh is chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department and Director of Choral Activities at Hilton Head Island High School where he teaches choir, musical theatre, music appreciation, and Teacher Cadets. Also, Josh serves as the Music Director for the Beaufort Theatre Company. Josh holds a Bachelors of Music Education and a Masters of Choral Music and Education from Winthrop University.

As a percussionist, pianist, or vocalist, Josh has been a featured performer with the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte, the Winthrop/Carolina Wind Orchestra, York County Choral Society, Charlotte
Symphony Orchestra, and the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra. Prior to his appointment in Hilton Head, Josh was the Director of Choral Activities at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. Choral groups under Josh’s direction have consistently received Superior Ratings at state and national choral competitions.

Since landing in the Lowcountry, Josh has been highly involved with the Seahawk Stage Company at Hilton Head Island High School by music directing musicals including, “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Bring it On!”, “Into The Woods,” and “Annie Get Your Gun.” With the Beaufort Theatre Company, Josh had the pleasure of being Music Director for “Forbidden Broadway,” and “Mamma Mia.”

Josh is grateful to Cinda and the MSYT board for providing him with the opportunity to collaborate with this highly talented creative team and cast. Much love and gratitude to his parents for driving him to piano and music lessons and for their unending love and support. Break legs everybody!!!
